I love how coordinated but un-matching this outfit is. The eyeglass white detail matches the shoes’ soles, the shorts and sweater different patterns in same color, and the pop of color from the Mac. Nice Metro outfit!
Attention to detail is what makes Japanese men’s fashion so sublime. I love the neon yellow iPhone case that matches the baseball cap strap and the bottom of the bill. The neck tattoo is also fetching.
I don’t know why but I am captivated by this night shot of the Times Square bomber’s Connecticut home. It looks like a doll house. He lived there with his wife and two young children, and left each morning well dressed and headed for “Wall Street.”
Update: I am captivated by the domestic details: “There were packets of Nair, moisturizer with Arabic writing on the back, a makeup brush, a Japanese cherry blossom scent body spritzer, wrapping paper and gift bags that appeared to be for baby gifts.” (via New York Times)
This stairway in Nakano is magical and enticing. So many faux finishes, so many mysteries. The more you look around Nakano, the more detail you see.
