The only thing better than Cher is multiple Chers. As they say down under, “Cher the love.”
This concept is not very sophisticated, yet the song and video express Cher’s gender fantasy. Women are strong, men are pretty. Thanks, Eric the fez, my old college roommate for bringing this religious work to my attention.
A lot of mutual love and admiration. Is this the meaning of the holy “trinity”?
Cher is always “strong enough to rise above.” In fact, I don’t think this is a woman’s world, but a Cher world. Long live the siren of truth.
Has anyone seen this movie, Simply Chaz? It’s the story of Cher (and Sonny’s) only daughter’s transition into manhood. Apparently it premiered on the Oprah Winfrey Network. I am eager to see it since it combines two of my biggest interests: Cher & FTMs.
Of course, I am a HUGE Cher fan. This upcoming OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) show follows Cher’s daughter Chastity’s transformation into a man named Chaz.
Have Madonna and Cher already been reincarnated?
There’s no reason for this photo, but I *love* Cher at the British premiere of Burlesque. Who’s seen the movie? I want to, but I heard there is not enough Cher in the movie. What do you think?
Another favorite from the Tokyo Pride Parade last weekend. I love her outfit and her pose. Somehow, she reminds me of Cher. And her American-themed outfit is at once a tribute to the still occupying super-power, and also a desecration of its national symbol. I half-expected her to belt out “Half Breed” while sitting on a stationary horse.
A friend has been invited for a private tour of a US aircraft carrier, and asked me what would be appropriate dress code. Other than anti-war protests, my only direct experience with the Navy is Cher’s “If I could turn back time.” For Cher, a super-sized wig, thong, minimal V-shaped fabric covering the front, metallic belt, fish nets, garters and high heeled boots seemed to make the sailors smile and dance in her video.
What would you recommend? Are double butt tattoos mandatory for aircraft visits?
