A flock of Japanese police, especially when assigned to the Imperial Palace, perfectly captures the appearance of being busy. I think the men are as stylized and ordered as the luxuriously pruned black pine garden behind them.
Very excited boys wrestle with light saber in early morning Shibuya
We discovered these boys rolling around the street in Shibuya with a light saber suggestively posed, crotch adjacent. I love the “call me baby” hand signal, suggesting he’s busy but open to new friends too. I cannot recommend highly enough an early morning visit to Shibuya on the weekend.
Cops are often good-looking
As someone who is not often respectful of authority, I am always struck by how good-looking Tokyo cops are. And there’s nothing better than small groups of them looking busy!

What a treat to discover all 5 Arashi in a bathtub together. I know it’s an ad for AU telephones; still, I was momentarily arrested in busy Shibuya station.
