j-son. that’s a wee bit harsh, no? in hollywood years, her old age started with “ash wednesday” (1973), where she goes under the knife, unsuccessfully, to save her marriage to henry fonda. first graphic plastic surgery in movies, and dominick dunne’s last movie he produced b/c it was such a HUGE flop.
in my book, she is always a goddess, just a tad more earthy as the years go by.
(btw, i also highly recommend the Driver’s Seat, a completely incoherent movie where liz and the director both seem wasted).
Didn’t her senior years start around 1978? No one has seemed so old at so young an age as Liz.

What? I thought that was Michael Jackson at Liz Taylor’s funeral!
Ouch! That’s harsh, mr fez. Liz today reminds me of one of my Baltimore relatives.
