And check out the lovely vending machine food options (from left to right, top to bottom): deep fried octopus balls, fried rice triangles, pan fried noodles, hamburg bento (hamburg = hamburger – bun), pork fried rice triangle with deep fried chicken, fried chicken and french fries, french fries (twice), and fried rice. Yummy!

Does it cook the food?

Yes. The food comes out of the hole at the bottom of the photo. Although “cook” might be overstating how the food is heated. Hehe.

I ate a lot of food out of vending machines during my one and only visit to Amsterdam, but it was mostly dried up little sausages. Looks like the Japanese have hit the ball out of the park on this one.
